🔒 No-Fake-Data Pledge (All-Systems Mode)
When Aetherra runs in full “all systems” mode, the system must operate without test doubles:
- No mocks, stubs, or synthetic/fake metrics are allowed in runtime paths.
- Test-only overrides such as
AETHERRA_QFAC_VALIDATOR_FAKE, AETHERRA_QFAC_SHADOW_FAKE, and QFAC fast stubs are disabled.
- The launcher enforces this policy: if any registered service identifies as
mock or stub, the run fails fast with a clear error.
How it’s enforced:
- The launcher treats full mode as no-fake by default. You can also set
AETHERRA_NO_FAKE_DATA=1 to force this posture explicitly.
- During startup, test-only env knobs are cleared and the system scans the registry for any mock/stub services.
- If detected, the launcher aborts to protect integrity of demos and production runs.
This pledge ensures measurements, dashboards, and demos reflect the real system’s behavior.
